You can use cooking oil to tan, but it is not recommended. Cooking oils are typically made up of a lot of polyunsaturated fatty acids which will cause rashes and irritate your skin if you have sensitive skin. Plus the smell that’s left afterward won’t be pleasant either!

You could be risking getting more wrinkles which can make your face seem older than what it really is! This will only happen if you use what you shouldn’t use! So what should you use?

I recommend using a moisturizer. This is what my dermatologist recommended and what got me hooked on this process! 🙂

It’s not only good for your skin but if it has SPF in then that will help to prevent wrinkles as well which can be the last thing we want while trying to get tanner-looking skin. 😉

I personally think that taking melanin pills would be one good option because you can avoid getting burnt and it takes a little bit longer than simply laying in the sun all day but I don’t know if they are meant for everyone though.

There are some side effects such as weight gain, nausea, sleepiness, vomiting, etc so keep that in mind when thinking about what kind of supplement might be right for you. 🙂
